The Hub occasionally takes photos and short videos of programs, events, and everyday drop-in life. We use them internally to document our work and, with your explicit per-channel consent, externally to share our mission with funders, donors, and the community.
During the registration flow you select each channel individually:
A channel you do not check will not be used. You can update these preferences at any time from the parent portal or mobile app.
We never publish a youth's last name, home address, school, or school grade without your written permission. First name and chosen name may appear in captions only if the matching consent box is checked.
You may withdraw consent at any time. For already-published materials on channels we control (website, social media, newsletter archives) we will remove your youth's image within 30 days of request. Printed materials already in circulation will not be reprinted.
Group photos taken at Hub-hosted public events (open houses, community nights, fundraisers) may be published even if one family has opted out, provided the youth is not individually recognizable. We make reasonable efforts to honor opt-outs in close-up and named photos.
Starting at age 18, a youth may update their own media release preferences directly from the portal. Before age 18 the parent or guardian controls these preferences.
When a partner organization or media outlet requests to photograph a program, we notify families in advance and require the third party to respect your on-file media-release preferences.
Changes take effect immediately for future photos. For materials already published, see "Right to withdraw" above.
